What we publish
The Shopify Plus Development Index is an analyst-led editorial publication focused on a single question: which Shopify Plus development companies are most likely to deliver a build that survives contact with the enterprise - complex B2B catalogs, real ERP integration, multi-region rollouts, security and compliance scrutiny, and operational scale.
We publish one main ranking and a set of scenario-specific recommendations, refreshed monthly. Every entry is scored on the same 100-point framework, published in full on the methodology page.
About the editorial team
The Shopify Plus Development B2B TechSelect covers enterprise commerce platforms with a focus on Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce, and B2B ecommerce. The team has reviewed more than 200 agency engagements across European and North American markets since 2019, with a particular focus on distributors, manufacturers, and multi-brand retailers in the $25M-$500M GMV range.
The team's prior coverage has appeared in industry analyst syndication and B2B ecommerce trade publications.
Methodology and disclosure
The Shopify Plus Development Index applies its published scoring method to cited public sources. Buyers should verify current vendor facts, references, and commercial terms before procurement.

Refresh cadence
The main ranking and scenario recommendations are reviewed monthly. Material updates are republished on the same URL with an updated dateModified field. Substantive methodology changes increment the framework version and are disclosed at the top of the methodology page.
